 Jiffy Jump Ring Tool

This is a  Jiffy jump ring tool. This highly versatile tool will produce round and oval jump rings in seconds. Swivels for wrapping wire into coil on one side and making accurate saw blade cuts on the other. Made for jewelers, silversmiths and crafters. This can make a large number of jump rings fast and easy. The saw blade guide allows you to cut jump rings straight. It can also be used to make straight cuts on watch bands, wire, tubing, ring shanks, etc. Made of stainless steel and silicone bronze. Holds items up to 15/16" x 1/4" (24 x 6.5 mm). It measures up to 4" (102 mm) long. This highly versatile tool will produce round and oval jump rings in seconds, as well as giving a square, clean cut to watchbands, tubing, sizing stock, etc. The handy v-block will hold items up to 1/4" (6.4mm) in size. Made of stainless steel and silicone bronze for long life.

You receive:

  • 1 Jiffy jump ring tool
  • 3 Round rods for round jump rings that each measure approximately 1/8" (3 mm), 1/16" (1.5 mm) and 3/32" (2.5 mm) in diameter
  • 2 Rectangular rods for oval jump rings that measure approximately 3.2 x 1.4 mm (1/8" x 1/16") and 4.8 x 1.6 mm (3/16" x 1/16")
  • 2 Screws for bench mounting
  • 1 Instruction sheet


  • Supplied with three round rods: 1/8", 1/16", 3/32" and two rectangular rods for oval jump rings
  • The rectangular rods are shorter for easier removal of the coils
  • Select the hole that best fits the size wire being used
  • Wrap the wire around the rod making a coil
  • Release one end of the saw blade from a Jewelers saw frame and pass the saw blade through the center of the coil
  • Secure the saw blade in the frame
  • Swing the jump ring cutting end of the jig around the cut of the coil
  • For most jump rings use a 4/0 saw blade
