30 Square Hole Drawplate for Wire Making

• This is a new 30 square hole drawplate
• Use this drawplate to reduce and shape thickness of gold, silver, platinum, brass, copper or soft steel wire
• Made of steel and carefully stamped with type identifying letter and hole sizes
• The holes are progressively smaller, in proper increments, so that wire drawn from a preceding hole will go through the next hole easily
• Occasional annealing will keep wire soft, and bees wax can be used as a lubricant
• The hole sizes measure from approximately 1.65 to 4.10 mm (1/16" to 3/16")
• Measures approximately 8" x 1 1/2" (203.2 mm x 38.1 mm)

To reduce rust in storage, metal tools received may come in packing grease or oil. To remove packing grease we recommend using degreaser and a rag.
