2009-02-13 NO MORE JEWELRER FOR ME----NOW I'M THE MAN THIS TOOL DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO. IT OPENS THE WATCH CASEBACKS. DID MY FIRST IN 2 MINUTES. COMES WITH MULTIPLE BITS FOR DIFFERENT SIZES. THE BOX IS WOOD BUT LIKE A FLIMSY BALSA WOOD. STILL IT HOLDS THE TOOL AND BITS PERFECTLY. IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR OWN WATCH BATTERIES THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED. 100% SATISFIED

2009-02-28 Works for me I bought this tool to open my mechanical watch to improve its time keeping accuracy. The first time you use it, it takes a few minutes to figure out which pins are best for your watch and to adjust it. Once set up it works like a charm. I don't understand the review that says the pins don't lock in. They do. You just have to push down firmly and wiggle the pins a little and they will click in and be held in snugly. As others have mentioned, the tool comes with a slight coating of oil on it so have a paper towel ready to wipe it off when you first open the box.

2009-03-04 Great watch tool This item works just as described. Actually, the pins DO lock into the tool. The pins must be pushed fairly hard to get them to lock into the tool, but then they are secure and the tool can be moved to any position without them falling out. The oil on the parts is only to protect them during shipping when who knows what environment they will be in. Overall, very satisfied with this tool, as it usually costs $20 to have a battery replaced on a waterproof watch. This will pay for itself after one change.
