24 Steel Dapping Punches

• This is a new set of 24 steel dapping punches
• Used for shaping, forming and chasing metal in dapping blocks
• Made from tool steel and hardened to 50 Rc on both hit and work ends
• Their unique tempering method leaves the shank of the punch with a mill hardness of 32 Rc to 36 Rc
• This allows the handle to absorb the shock and prevent crystallization of the metal, which enhances the performance and life of the tool
• Comes with wood stand
• These punches measure from approximately 3.33 to 22 mm

2" Steel Dapping Block

• This is a new steel dapping block
• The depressions have a smooth finish that are great for shaping metal
• Made from high carbon tool steel that is ground, hardened and tempered and has a Rockwell hardness of 45 HRC
• Has 18 half spheres that measure approximately 1.1, 3.2, 4.8, 6.4, 7.9, 9.5, 12.7, 14.3, 15.9, 17.5, 19.1, 20.6, 22.2, 25.4, 28.6, 31.8, 34.9 and 40 mm (0.04", 0.13", 0.19", 0.25", 0.31", 0.37", 0.5", 0.56", 0.63", 0.69", 0.75", 0.81", 0.87", 1", 1.13", 1.25", 1.37"and 1.57")
• The block measures approximately 2" x 2" x 2" (51 x 51 x 51 mm)
